SOCCER TIME!!!

Spring soccer was a nightmare we had so many rain outs and make up games than we have ever had before. We had a good team and the Best Coach ever (of course it was Matt) HA HA!!! Brennick played well this year, but halfway through the season he told us that he just didn't like soccer anymore when we asked why he replied it is to much running WHAT A LAZY FART!!! So I guess this well be our last season of soccer, unless he changes his mind....

Got Milk...

Yesterday Brennicks first grade class walked to Hamblin Dairy Farm. They did different stations telling alittle about a dairy farm and whats on a dairy farm:

* How to grow wheat.

They explained that it is very important to have good soil to grow wheat and that it is important for it to have water everyday. They gave each of them a bag with some wheat and a cotton ball soaked in water and told them that if they made sure the cotton ball stayed damp and gave it sunlight it would begin to grow.

*How to milk a cow.

We went into the milking barn and they showed us how it is all done by a machine and not by hand anymore. They milk the cows twice a day and each cow takes 15 minutes, all of there milk is sold to store around here (like Smith's is one).

* Learned about sheep and how they sheer them.

One interesting thing that they told us about a sheep's sweat was that it is in makeup and lotion it is called lanolin, kind of a grouse. Another thing is that they know how old a sheep is by their teeth.

* Petting Zoo

There was a bunch of farm animals that the kids got to see and touch. There was baby cows, goats, turkeys, and a lama to name a few. The kids loved it and could have stayed there all day!!

*Learning about Pigs.

They watched a video about pigs and answered true or false questions, it was nice because we got to sit for a minute.

We had a good time at the Dairy Farm, they even gave us some milk!!

Today we went to lagoon to get our pictures taken for our season passports, every Christmas Matt's mom gives us season passports and we love them!! We meet up with my brother Luke and his family and Matt's sister and her family, It was a nice day and was not busy at all the kids had a great time...

The Easter Bunny Came!!!!

Easter morning was fun. The Easter Bunny hides their baskets and they have to search high and low to find them. Hudson found his right of the bat and Brennick had a harder time finding his, but he eventually found it...

Today was a good day, it is a day to remember Christ and all that he has done for us so that we may live again... The atonement has a very special place in my heart, I am so grateful for it and the chance I will have to be with our sweet Meghan again. We had a day full of family, good memories and lots of Easter Fun!!!

Brennick wrote this letter to leave out for the easter bunny!! It say, How do you hop so fast and how do you give us toys! We thought it was so cute... I guess it goes to show us how much they really do believe!!!

Easter Parties....

We had two Easter parties on Saturday, my Moms and Great Grandma Calls. There was Easter egg hunts at both of them, so they got a lot of candy more sugar YEAH!!! At Great Grandma Calls she has them color eggs while the eggs are being hide it is a tradition and the kids love it. They got to roast hot dogs in the fire and Hudson thought he was invincible and decided to pick up a hot coal HELLO... We had a great Day!!!

MAZZIE...

Our new addition to our family "Mazzie"! She is a Yorkshire Terrier and was born on 02/13/09 weighing 2.2 oz. She was the only girl of the litter (and 3 boys) and the only girl ever born to her mother. She is eight weeks old and is so sweet and playful. My boys cant get enough of her and lover her to pieces.
