Day 3 in the Hospital....

He is the same today, but has been up a little more than the last couple of days. He had another chest X-ray to see if there is still pre pneumonia, no change no better and no worse. The results are back and it looks like he has rhinovirus and adenovirus, now at least they know what they are dealing with. He is in the best care we have had great nurses and have a wonderful doctor and not to mention the best support from our family and friends. Thank you so much for all the love and support you have shown our family it means the world to us....

They brought him a mask to paint and I was surprised that he wanted to do it, but he got tired really fast...

Western Hoedown!!

Tonight was Brennick's 2nd grade Western Hoedown. It was so cute and Brennick did such a good job he loves to sing!!!

Day 2 in the Hospital...

Not much has changed today he is still really sick and refuses to eat...He is so sick of being poked and bugged and he keeps saying he just wants to go home... He has treatments every 4 hours, and is on steroids to help his lungs,but is just really still lifeless which is so hard to watch and not be able to help him... He is such a tuff little boy and has a very high tolerance for pain, Sorry buddy you have to go through all of this!!! GET BETTER SOON.....

He wanted to get out of the room so we went for a walk and he was so exhausted and doesn't have much energy.

Being Admitted to the Hospital...

Hudson has been sick for a couple of days and today he took a turn for the worse..We took him up to the doctors and his oxygen level was way to low and his temp was 104.9 he was really SICK!!! Dr. Hom decided to admit him after he checked him over, so here we are in the hospital in room 5202 and the worst part is that we don't know what he has. It was a long night of trying to get his IV in, a chest X-ray and all the labs that they had to draw he was like a pin cushion poor kid. And he hates the oxygen, he has pulled it out several times and has attempted to pull his IV out I think he is just so miserable that he doesn't know what to do.... I hate when my kids get sick because you feel so helpless and you wish there was just something you could do for them. We love you buddy and hope that you will feel better soon!!

Winger's Sticky Finger Salad

Winger's Sticky Finger Salad

Who doesn't love a yummy salad? I am always up for trying a new salad, especially when it has chicken in it. Here is the recipe for one of my most favorite salads the sticky finger salad from Wingers... I could eat it all day long!! I got it from the blog Our Family Treat.


4 chicken breasts, cut into strips

1/2 cup sour cream

1 cup bread crumbs

2 heads romaine lettuce, chopped

2 tomatoes

croutons

cheddar cheese, grated

ranch dressing

craisins

2 1/2 cups brown sugar

1/3 cup Frank's Hot Sauce

1/2 cup apple cider vinegar

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Dip chicken breasts into the sour cream and then into bread crumbs. Place on a sprayed/greased sheet pan. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes until the chicken is cooked and crispy. While the chicken is baking, prepare salad and make the dressing. To make the dressing, combine the 2 1/2 cups brown sugar, 1/3 cup Franks Hot Sauce, and 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar in a pot. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly. Let boil for one minute, but no longer! If you boil too long it will turn hard. When the chicken is done dip into sticky sauce and place on a plate. To serve, place sliced strips on top of salad with any additional toppings (cheese, croutons, tomatoes, craisins, etc.) and drench in ranch dressing. Save the additional sticky dressing as an extra topping for the salad...it adds a little more tang!

Lazy Day...

Emmie, Hudson and I were laying on my bed watching cartoon and there was a basket full of laundry (yes clean laundry) and so she decided to try some on, first the under ware then the socks and on to the Jazz Jersey.. I thought she looked so cute I just had to take some pictures.... Now I cant get it off her!!
As for my poor Hudson he is so sick and has had a rough night.... It's a virus and on top of that his asthma is bad, its been treatments, Tylenol, high fevers and lots of popsicles the last couple of days. I feel so bad for him he gets ever sickness that comes our way, he has a bad immune system!!! Sorry big guy your sick but I have enjoyed all the snugging and holding you the last couple of days your getting so big and I have to saver these precious moments....

Another Easter Party...

Great grandma Call had her Easter party after Easter this year, they colored eggs and had a little Easter egg hunt. They always have a great time running around and they really enjoy playing with their cousins. It was a beautiful and fun day....

Moms Over The Hill...



Today was my moms 60th birthday, she is now officially older that dirt ha ha!!! We had a surprise party for her at El Burrito with the family, we pulled it off she was surprised... Happy Birthday to the most wonderful women in my life, you are such a great MOM and grandma any girl could ask for!!! You are my Best Friend and thank you for always being there for me, I love you so much and hope you had a wonderful Birthday even though you are 60 now....

Chuck E Cheese...

We had a good time at Chuck E Cheese with the call family... The kids loved it!! Emmie had a good time riding the little Chuck E Cheese car over and over, Hudson just loved playing all the games, and for Brennick I didnt see him at all the whole day....

SCOUTS....

Brennick made a tool box at scouts and is so proud of it... He got to even burn his name and troop number in the wood. I love that he is so excited about scouts and loves going....

Sleepover....


The boys had a sleepover at grandma and grandpa calls with their cousins over spring break... I don't know whether to think you are crazy to have all 7 sleepover or maybe you should have be highly medicated!! They had a lot of fun and love spending time a with their grandparents and cousins.

Hoppy Easter!!!

This morning the kids woke up to find there Easter baskets, but Brennick wondered why the baskets were on the kitchen counter and not hide... I never thought that he would think of that but the Easter Bunny (AKA mom & dad) didn't want the dog to get them and must of been to tired to hide them in the morning!!! Silly Easter Bunny....



What a day filled with so much fun!!! We had lunch at my parents followed by a Easter Egg Hunt and then it was off to Matt's parents were we had dinner and another Easter Egg Hunt... They had a good time hunting for eggs and were so excited when they found that some had money in them! Emmie was so funny she just wanted to eat all the chocolate and couldn't get it in her mouth fast enough, what can I say the girl loves chocolate....

Friend Easter Party!



The Mills had a Easter Party with an Easter Egg Hunt and a BBQ. The weather was a little chilly but that didn't stop the kids... Thanks Sadie for a afternoon of Easter Fun!!!!

Coloring EGGS...

Coloring Eggs with the kiddos was really fun.... Brennick did his usual egg BYU, Kaysn did a LA Lakers, Hudson decided to do a Syracuse Titans (too funny) and Emmie dropped hers and cracked it and then spilt the dye all over!!! GOOD TIMES, GOOD TIMES....
