We had a little New Years party with the kids. We had Chinese Food and watched G-Force and me and the kids played games while dad slept (no surprise there). The kids eventually all fell asleep so I got to ring in the New Year by myself, Brennick tried to stay awake but just couldn't....

Call Christmas Party....

This is a Call family tradition every year we get together and Great Grandma call reads the Nativity story and the kids all get to dress the part. Hudson was a Angel and Brennick was a Wise man. I think it is great for the kids to hear the story so they can always remember what the true meaning of Christmas is.

We also play a game called Tommy right, this year we all got old books and candy bars...

We had a really good Christmas!!! The best part is being with family and sharing in the joys of a child's imagination...

The kids and there Christmas...

Santa came so the kids must have been on the good list....They woke up around 7 and were so excited to go downstairs and see what Santa brought, Emmie was still asleep so we let her sleep until she woke up so there was no drama (if ya know what I mean)... Christmas morning is so exciting not only for the kids but for the parents to see the bright smiling faces when they walk downstairs to find that Santa left the all kinds of goodies!! Oh these are the best times and best memories that I will cherish forever....

Brennick was so excited that he got his star wars Lego's and he loved his new Tony Hawk bike that Santa gave him....

Hudson is at such a cute age that everything he got was his favorite, but two things that brought the biggest smiles were his Tony Hawk bike and his BYU jersey....

Emmie didn't really quiet know what to do but she eventually got the hang of it. She loved here little pink coupe and her play cell phone, she stayed in the coupe the whole time while she opened presents and held on to that cell phone for dear life..

HaPpY BiRtHdAy DaD!!

Happy Birthday Dad!!! We always celebrate his birthday on a different day since his birthday is on Christmas, I think that would be the worst birthday to have but he doesn't seem to mind. Where do I start I have a great DAD, he has always been there for me and my family and has always helped out in any way possible!!! He holds a special place in my heart not only because I am his baby girl, but because he is such a great man and I look up to him in so many ways! I love you so much and am so grateful for your example you are to me!!! I hope you had a wonderful birthday because you deserve it and so much more....

Christmas Eve....

Every Christmas Eve we spend with Matt's family. We have Mexican food and there is always tons and it is always so yummy... The kids exchange names and they open the presents on Christmas eve. Hudson got an awesome dragon from Carter, Brennick got a Hex bug and a bionicle from Tanner and Emmie got a cute sweater and stretch pants and a dolly from Abby. We sang some Christmas carols and this year Jordan and his friend played their guitars for us and all I got to say is he has talent.. It was a fun night and the kids had a blast which they always do they love spending time with their cousins!!



We are getting ready for SANTA!!!! We have read a story (thanks to my great in laws) who send them home with us every Christmas eve along with other fun goodies to open, my kids love it and have a hard time waiting to open them till we get home....We have spread out the reindeer dust so the reindeer can find our house and the plate of cookies are all set and we cant forget the carrots for the reindeer (Brennick was pretty admit about that). Now all there is left to do is get the kids to bed and that was a pretty big chore since they are so EXCITED!!!!!

Cookies For SANTA!!

We started a new tradition this year; making cookies for Santa. The kids had such a fun time decorating them and what a good job they did. I think they ate more frosting then they used to frost the cookies, but I guess that the best part... They are so YUMMY Santa is for sure to love them!!!

Cute Christmas House



The kids make the cutest little house ever and they had a blast doing it. Brennick decorated one side and Hudson decorated the other side and I made the cute snowman.... We had a fun time decorating and eating the candy!!!!

Stocking Fun...



We have a family tradition with my side, we get together and every family puts a little something in each family members Christmas stocking. The kids love it and look forward to it every year.... I LOVE FAMILY TRADITIONS!!!

Tons of Bubbles...

The kids love to bath they would stay in there until they were prunes if we would let them!!! They turn into animals when they get to put bubbles in the jetted tub and the more the merrier .... Which doesn't happen very often because as you can tell they make a BIG BUBBLE MESS....

CHRISTMAS TIME....

I LOVE Christmas time!!! It's a great time for getting together with family and friends. A time to reflect on the birth of the savior and remember what the true mean of Christmas is all about... A time for YUMMY food and goodies and to hear the sweet Christmas music. A time for gift giving, and a time to cuddle up with and a blanket and read a good Christmas story. A time for beautiful light, Christmas Cheer and lots of snow!!! And this is why it is my most favorite holiday of all....

Gifts from SANTA...



Santa is so sweet!!! We weren't able to go to the Call Christmas Party so Santa brought the gifts to them. The kids were so excited to see the gifts under the tree. Brennick got a little remote control car, Hudson got batman stuff and Emmerson got a cute doll.... Thank you Santa for making my kids day since we have been locked in our house to prevent spreading the H1N1 that Matt has....

Temple Square...

I LOVE to go see the lights at Temple Square, every year they do an amazing job!! Me and the kids went down with the Smiths, Wells and Mills it was a bitter cold night and also very packed!! It was a crazy night and a little hard since I didn't have my husband there to help (poor guy sick with swine flue) but all in all we had a good if you look past the cold, Hudson winning and a million people... Such GOOD TIMES!!

Christmas Concert...

Tonight was Brennick's Christmas concert! Besides how packed it was and that there was no where to sit, he did a great job. Brennick has a great love for singing and I don't think there is a song that he doesn't know ever word to....

Swine Flu...

So today Matt came home from work early because he wasn't feeling good (which never happens) so I knew he had to be really sick... In a couple hours that he was home he just keep getting worse and his temperature keep rising 104 is the highest it got. Matt's dad came down and took him the IHC after hours to see what was up, the results came back positive for SWINE FLU and the doctor told him it will get worse before it gets better. We wondered how this could of happened since we have all had the shot, but little did we know that there is a week incubation period and just his luck he got it...Oh ya it defiantly got worse throwing up all the time, high fevers, chills, body aches, headaches, sick to his stomach you name it he was feeling it. He was so sick for about a week and I now see how it can be fatal he even said he honestly thought he was going to die.. I am so grateful it is all over now, and that he is better and my kids are so happy that they can actually see him and be with him since they haven't seen him in over a week. He is still really weak and gets really tired fast, but it will take a little while the regain his strength!!! I love you honey and I'm so happy to see you are feeling much better....

LiGhTs...

We went to the Ogden lights, it was a very bitter cold night to make it worse the wind was blowing. We went to see Santa so we could get out of the cold!! Hudson was so cute and so excited to sit on his lap (He told Santa he wants a bike), Emmie wasn't sure of the whole idea and just stared at him the whole time, Brennick of course hes a pro and sat right down and let him know he wanted star wars Lego's (Santa thought he had some pretty cool red hair).

Church Christmas Party...


What a fun and spiritual night, they took us back in time to the birth of Christ!! It was a journey to Bethlehem, they decorated it with white tents white lights and we sat on blankets to eat (that was kind of hard with kids and my boys both spilt several times). We then had a skit of the birth of baby Jesus which both of the boys thought was great and sat through the whole thing. I am so glad that it was spiritual so that my kids were able to see and remember what the true meaning of Christmas is all about....

Grandparents!!!!

It is grandparents week at school.. Brennick loved the one on one time that he got to spend with his grandmas! My kids have the greatest grandparents you could ever ask for, thanks for all the love and support that you show my kids... We LOVE ya tons!!

I have so much to be grateful for, I have a wonderful life and the most wonderful people to share it with...

Thanksgiving was with my side this year. We had good food and the best part just being with family.

It is a tradition to go bowling on Thanksgiving. The boy had a good time and Hudson was having the time of his life, Brennick bowled a 72 and Hudson bowled a 65 with the help of the bumpers. As for Emmerson she is a little stinker and keep trying to pick up the bowling balls and ran out on the lanes. We all had a great time...

The BOYS Baking...

The boys, Grandma J and I did some baking. Brennick did his favorite pie PUMPKIN and Hudson did a APPLE and we did a CHERRY pie for Matt. Thanks mom for the good MESSY time!!!

Stone Soup..

Brennick class has been reading several different versions of the story Stone Soup. Today we got to have Stone Soup with Brennick it was really good its is a vegetable soup made from a "ROCK" and yes there really was a rock in the soup.

We had to do a family turkey and Brennicks TURKEY got first place. Way to go!!!

The First SNOW Fall!!!


Today was a snow and hot chocolate day at our house (my hot coco maker didn't stop all day)!! The kids were so excited that it was snowing, they were in and out all day long, they had so much fun playing in the snow! Emmie thought it was pretty fun until her hands got cold and that was the end for her.

SISTERS NIGHT OUT....

Tonight was sisters night out at my sisters Nikkols house. We had Chinese food, exchanged gifts and had a great time talking, laughing and catching up... I LOVE these ladies so much they mean the world to me!!!

Basement Project!!

I am so glad that we have started the basement AGAIN it is coming along nice and Brennick cant wait for his room to be finished.

CANDY TIME!!!!

The kids had a good time at the trunk or treat, they got tons of candy in just 20 minutes. Matt took Brennick, Hudson and Kaysn door to door and me Sadie and the girls did a little trick or treating until it got cold!! Emmie thought this was great everyone giving her candy she had her hand in her bucket the whole time trying to eat through all the wrappers!! It was a good night for trick or treating the weather was great and the kids got a lot of candy..

The Kids Carving Pumpkins!!!



The kids love carving pumpkins!!! Brennick did his own this year and he did a great job. Hudson was so funny when we cut the lid off the pumpkin and he looked inside, he asked me What is that? I told him it is pumpkin guts. He was way excited to dig right in until he touched the pumpkin guts and started to gag and said "YUCK that is grouse!!" I did try and convince him to finish, but i think I did most of the work. Emmie just loves the pumpkins not so much the pumpkin guts or being stuck in one, but just to look at and pat the pumpkins... All of their pumpkins turned out adorable...

Happy Birthday to a great and wonderful man who we call grandpa and dad!!! We hope you had a great day, we love ya tons!!! We celebrated Doug's birthday at Garcia's tonight with the family...

Halloween Time...

BRENNICK our Bloodthirsty Vampire loves Halloween and getting dressed up in anything that is scary and not to mention all the yummy candy you get. When I asked him what one reason he wanted to be a vampire was and his answer was the vampire teeth are so awesome. That would explain why in ever drawing that all the people have sharp teeth. But I was ok with it since I am a big fan of the movie Twilight or should I say Edward even Brennick thought that was a cool movie.

HUDSON our Pirate this costume is from when Brennick was little and is to cute to pass up, besides he didnt know what he wanted to be.. He loves playing the part of a pirate saying, "Give me your gold!" and he even uses his deep voice while saying it! Love this little boy to death he is such a character...

EMMERSON the cutest bumble bee ever and not to mention busy she is everywhere and has so much energy she makes me so tired. Since there has been candy around the house because its Halloween time she really thinks it pretty yummy stuff!! Only 14 months old and already has a love for sugar, looks like a big dentist bill in the future...

Halloween Parties!!!

My kids are so lucky to have wonderful grandparents who love them not to mention spoil them... This week we have had two Halloween parties back to back, talk about crazy! Thanks grandparents for all the Halloween fun and for the memories that will last a lifetime...

Grandma and Grandpa Calls Annual Halloween party was Sunday, we had yummy soups in pumpkin shaped bread bowls. The kids had such a great time playing pin the wart on the witch, being wrapped like a mummy, ring toss, eating donuts from a string,and they got a little twisted when they played spooky spin, but the part they loved the most was bobbing for apples even Emmie like it so much she got in the water and sat right down. It was a lot of fun..

Grandma and Grandpa J's Halloween party was on Monday night!! We had grandmas yummy chili and Stromboli it was a great family night we had a lot of Halloween fun. The kids played Halloween ghost and won prizes, decorated a pumpkin, and played who can light the pumpkin (Brennick got the closest) and also decorated yummy sugar cookies. It was a lot of fun for the kids and they had a good time!!

The Pumpkin Walk..

Syracuse does the pumpkin walk every year and it is a lot of fun to see all the many different carved pumpkins. It was a really warm night and the kids all had a good time!!

Look Who's 40!!!

Jeff is the BIG 40 today!!! We had a surprise birthday party at El Burrito, we had a good time and I think he was surprised... Happy Birthday Jeff, we hope you had a great 40th birthday...
